ABOUT US

Aisling Mor Academy of Irish Dance was founded in 2018 under the direction of Teresa Hesener Lewis. Located in Bucks County, PA and in close proximity to Montgomery County, PA, the school's name has a deep meaning. The Gaelic words “aisling” (dream) and “mor” (big) resonate with Teresa’s own personal “big dream” to create a place where all of her students have the opportunity to find their love of Irish dancing in a creative and safe environment.

At AMA our students strive for competitive excellence while preserving our standard of being involved in our local community. Each year our students perform at nearly 100 venues around Bucks and Montgomery counties, and some of our students travel nationally and internationally for competitions. Our teachers instill in each student the love of Irish dancing, the importance of goal setting, and personal accountability for growth and consistency.

My daughter has been dancing with AMA for about 3 years. She’s started as a 3 year old that couldn’t jump and is now a 6 year old doing hard shoe dances and steps that amaze me and most adults. The teachers treat each student with kindness, always have encouraging words for them and help them build their confidence both on and off the dance floor. So happy to have my daughter part of the AMA family.
